On Unity

On 4/11/19, I received a message from the Lord as I was doing my regular devotional. It was an encouragement and an exhortation. It was a bible verse:

“For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do. Hebrews 6:10 NLT

It helps to see that even when the Holy Spirit speaks, he is consistently pointing us to Jesus and the things important to him. What are those things?

Before Jesus was arrested and crucified, as he spent one of the final times with his disciples, he prayed a very special prayer for them and those who would come after them. That prayer was for them to be united – as proof that we are his followers. John 17, which contains this prayer. Read the full article here.
