The Bible challenge class
Enrollment for 2025 class now open!
Could reading the entire Bible in 1 year really change your life?
Sign up below for FREE for the next class and also read below about the class, how the idea came about and those who have finished class so far. Classes begin on 1 January of every year. Don't be late! See you at roll call time! Pastor D. E. Wasake, Class monitor.
How the class works (summary)
God has blessed the seemingly simple (and perhaps foolish) idea of a completely online (Whatsapp) class for bringing change to his people through reading the entire Bible in one year. So many lives transformed, so many churches. In year 1 of this class, there were 29 classmates. In year 2, 79. In year 3, over 250 class mates from more than 60 churches and 15 countries. Will you join?
The class works as follows in summary (details and testimonies of the class further below):
-
Step 1: Sign up for the class using the form above. It is critical to fill in all fields. The information helps us to run the class successfully.
-
Step 2: Download the Bible.com reading app. Be sure to sign in.
-
Step 3: On the app, choose one of the two reading tracks/plans. You have two options (Please don't choose any other reading plan or APP):
-
Choice 1: fast track (buffet). This reading plan is called the "Read the Bible for Life 4+1 plan" and choosing this option is like eating in a buffet. You read a little of the Old Testament, New Testament and the Psalms/Proverbs. It ends in 312 days. This is preferred for new Bible students or those who can handle "jumping" from one book to the next. It will be strongly recommended that by default a new Bible class student read this plan.
-
Choice 2: Slow track (chronological). This reading plan is called "BibleProject|The Bible" This option starts at the Beginning. Genesis 1 and so on. It includes a video/explanation for daily readings. It ends in 365 days. This is best for those who have read the Bible before and now want to study it slower. It is also for those who like things "in order".
-
-
Step 4: Start reading daily! Alternatively, some Bible versions like NKJV, NLT, BSB, NIV have audio for you to listen. There are also many other langugages so you can read in your preferred language if English is not your 1st language. In the "More" tab, change "Bible text" to your language.
-
Step 5: At end of month, we have accountability or "Roll call". You will submit your screen shot/progress to the Group leader. You will be led by leaders in smaller groups who will encourage you along the journey to ensure you finish successfully. There are over 12 leaders. In joining the class, you covenant to be faithful to the Lord Jesus by doing your reading so that you are on track at every month end and thus to submit your roll call results. Having led the class for a number of years, statistics shows us that those who fail to finish the class at year end, often start failing in the first two months when they lose track and never seem to catch up for the rest of the year, so stay on track from the start and covenant to finish!
-
Step 6: Prayers & Announcements. As we are sustained by the Lord. You can choose to participate in the daily prayers posted on the Main Whatsapp Group. If you participate, you can use your prayer day to share a message of encouragement, a testimony or other word as part of your prayer (audio, written okay). The class monitor Pastor D. Wasake sends regular messages of hope so the flock don't lose strength for the enemy wants you to fail! There is a secret interecession group praying over your prayer requests submitted through the class monitor, Pastor D. Wasake
-
Step 7: Graduation, testimony and repeat. On completion, you get a reward (It's not money). The class is free for all good things come from God (and are often free). So you can testify and you can repeat the class as many times as you want, once you complete. Many class mates are in their 4th year plus!
How the Bible class works (detail)
Could reading the entire bible change your life?
A: How the idea came about.
In December 2021, I Dickson Wasake, a slave of Jesus felt I should ask my friends and family if there were those who wanted to read the entire bible in one year in 2022. I had come to the Lord and got baptised through reading the bible for myself and had read it cover to cover a few times and my life had been turned upside down. My testimony is here.
So, the Lord wanted me to repeat what I did in secret with him, with others. I hoped maybe even just 5 would join me. I was surprised! The Lord Jesus sent 28 people to join the class! We had people from the USA, UK, Mauritius, Jersey and Uganda. 8 of the class comprised of my relatives (2 aunties, 1 uncle and 5 were cousins). This was especially encouraging as I suppose the light of Christ in me had given me a good testimony. It also didn’t matter what church they attended (or didn’t attend) and which denomination they came, we were united in Christ whose church is universal. You can see more about the 2022 class below.
B: Genesis (bible reading plan)
We use a defined reading plan and there are two tracks, a fast track (buffet) and a slow track (chronological). Our preferred is the fast track for we want someone to complete as quickly as possible and RETURN to read the word again. This prefeerred track or reading plan is an online daily reading plan from You version’s bible.com.
It combines about 15 minutes daily personal reading (or there is an audio version): a little of the Old Testament, New Testament and the Psalms. The idea of this is to give you variety as some books are more difficult to read and this way you don’t lose hope along the way. Most people try to read the Bible sequentially, that is from Genesis to Revelation but this often fails. The preferred approach we use results in remarkable finish rates. The slower/chronological plan is best for those who have read the Bible before and now want to study it, OR those who can't handle "jumping" from Old to New as the fast track plan does. Unlike the fast track which lasts 312 days (and allows time for slightly slower readers to finish before year end), the slow track lasts 365 days, so there is no room for lagging behind.
We use a WhatsApp group to encourage one another and to check on each other including having a monthly “roll call” where you submit your reading progress to everyone, so we are accountable to one another, as Christ tells us.
C: What has happened on the journey (testimonies)
Along the way, the Lord often gives us monthly prophetic words to keep us encouraged or even as a warning. Many of those who have finished testified to so many breakthroughs, miracles, if you like. One for example testified that he had tried and failed to read the Bible for 8 years in a row. Another says that she had tried to get her boyfriend to read, so his life could change, but nothing. When he started reading, the Lord got a hold of him so strongly that he finished the class by April, when the class had many months left! Many couldn’t believe what they had been missing. It’s like they were angry at themselves for having ignored life itself!
Many who have finished the class often sign up to come back to the class a second or even third time, they want more of the Lord! Because when the Lord visits, he often heals families, it is common that class members who are couples, often decide to bring their wives/husbands along the journey and for example read together or listen together to the audio version while driving.
Sadly, not everyone endures to the end, while we try our best to encourage and use class assistants to follow up, some never finish, but the Lord is ever faithful, these we commit to his care.
D: Will you take the 2025 bible reading challenge?
So, I ask you as well, could reading the entire bible in one year change your life? Seeking breakthrough in an area that has been held back for a while? Looking to find purpose to your life? Looking for hope? Seeking to know God?
If so, will you join the bible challenge class 2025? The entire course is FREE. All you need is a willingness to endure to the end and downloading the APP. If you want, you can read “Old Skool”, the physical Bible itself. If you follow the fast track, there is a guide for that too.
It helps to know how to use the Youversion bible app. A short guide is here.
The fast track class lasts for 312 days. It ends on November 8,2025. This allows time for those who are slower to complete and for I as the class monitor to conduct remedial classes. The Lord wouldn't leave one sheep behind and so I copy my master. You will also need to commit to submitting your "roll call" results at least monthly via the class WhatsApp group. This is accountability, evidence of your progress. It allows me (class monitor) to help you as necessary. Monthly calls (Zoom) or a Video message take place as necessary, to suit the various time zones. If we cannot have a call, I will record a message.
If you say yes, the Lord himself, who is the Spirit will help to take you through it all. Join the class by completing the form above. Please complete all fields, the information is critical for when we want to keep in touch throughout the year.

Testimonies from the Bible challenge class
I found favour in so many things.
“This class has been a blessing in many ways. I started out because I was really anticipating a busy year and indeed it became busy, but I knew I needed to be deliberate about God’s word. As a result, I have really found favour in so many things I have set my heart out to do. Lots of contacts and partners I could only dream of, opportunities I would never have found in my own capacity and every set back had a silver lining that was even bigger than the opportunity lost. I have been able to meet some of my goals in up to 1/5th of the time I had set out to and I don’t any of that for granted.”
Julius I. [From Uganda] who finished 1st in the class of 2022.
I have finished but I will still read.
God has enabled me to finish reading the Bible [this year], however I will still read the word of God [in the future] because as Christians, we need constant reminders of what God is telling us in His word. Thank you, Father, for this great opportunity and wisdom. Amen! Thank you [Dickson] for being an accountable leader, one who prayed, checked on each and everyone of us, made sure we never got off track. Thank you very much and God bless you! Norah W. Class of 2022
I was 45 days behind at one point!
We [Rishi, my husband and I] were 45 days behind and then 30 and then they kept reducing. I said I needed to complete the plan within the set timeline. I therefore started reading at work as well, instead of scrolling on FB 😊 Thank you so much for your prayers.
Karishma and Rishi [From Mauritius]. Class of 2022.
I can’t believe it I’ve read the Bible in less than a year
Honestly, I can’t believe I’ve read the Bible in less than a year, even with all the things that were happening [I was for example expecting a child]. God is so gracious!
Justine T. Class of 2022
Not that it matters to anyone, but I too finished this year.
Not that it matters as much to anyone [Since I am reading for my 5th time] but I too have finished 😊. This year I read the MSG version and it has been very amazing. I however don’t encourage that you [a new reader/believer] start with this version. Its best to start with a version like NLT, AMP or GNT – such versions are more of word for word translations and will give you the grounding you need and then only much later should you turn to MSG, but in the Bible reading app, when you read, you can use the “compare” feature for passages. This [feature] is really good! I will end [the class] with what Psalm 150 said: “Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord!” Hallelujah! Thank God he helped me finish too!
Dickson W, class monitor [to the class of 2022].
I was Spirit filled but reading the Bible was a mountain!
Man of God, I was a Spirit filled since I got saved in 2002 [so I am a senior citizen in salvation] but reading the entire Bible was a big mountain to move and whenever I would try, I would doze off and give up but your prayers took the spell of sleep away and I give God the glory and your monitoring made me push on and I even finished reading the Bible without realizing. It is not an easy achievement and I am humbled. I am now doing a quiz on the Bible and it is also making me realize I really read and mastered some scriptures and now my prayer for me is to quote scriptures like how powerful men and women do for I am destined for a bigger job ahead of me in God’s vineyard, amen! I have decided to enrol again and will use another Bible version. All glory and honour to Almighty God, a Miracle working God. Ayii!! Ayii!!
Pastor Jackline M [Uganda]. Class of 2022.
I completed but some chapters were harder
I completed the Bible! It feels good but I must admit that although I have completed, some chapters were harder to understand. I hope to read again and again to understand [more] fully.
Pamela M.B, [From the UK]. class of 2022.
I have learned to pray using the word as a sword
Hello brethren, I hope the mighty God has kept you well. I thank God for his love, care and blessings. He has been so good, and has made a way where it seemed to be now way. He has done wonderful things in my life and I really thank him. He who helped me to finish the Bible will also help those [others who want to finish] coz I have seen his goodness. I have learnt how to pray using his word coz it is a sword and He who led the Israelites from Egypt will always lead us. Remember he loved Israel and who is Israel? It is us. I am still reading the Bible and I will read it again and again coz I want know him more and more! Keep the candle burning, let’s look for heaven.
Sarah A. M. class of 2022
The snail has finally reached [I got a dream from the Lord].
The snail has finally reached! Praise the Lord! Surely at one stage, I had almost given up, but I thank God. My testimony about the Bible challenge is this:
I want to thank God for the privilege or rather opportunity to participate in this one year plan. Let me highlight a few things below:
1.First and foremost, the challenge has helped me read those scriptures that I wouldn’t read on a normal day. For instance I call them the “he begot” scriptures. In this plan, I had to read them anyway. I thank God for that.
2. Nowadays I look forward to sermons because when preachers refer to a story in the Bible, I know exactly what he is taking about. I can almost jump up with joy, with desire to complete the story for the preacher. In otherwords, I can now relate with the preachers.
3. There was a time when my house help went and didn’t come back. I was always tired, work then home, then super active children. I was 53 days behind. I almost gave up. I actually decided to withdraw from the class. I was busy trying to come up with an excuse to tell the class monitor (Dickson), then I had a dream. In the dream I was with a group of people that I didn’t know very well going for a trip on a ship. Before boarding, we had to go through a number of checkpoints but for some reason I reached every check point a bit later when they were about to close. I struggled through until I finally boarded the ship but late. When the ship was about to sail, I woke up. I asked God for the interpretation and the Bible Challenge Class came to mind. That’s how I reorganized myself and here we are!
Stella M.O. Class of 2022
Yay! Let’s Celebrate.
I’ve completed the Bible in one year! Yay! Let’s celebrate and praise God because he is good!
Octavia C [Jersey]. Class of 2022
9 years in prayer for my husband to read the Bible!
Praise The Lord. I thank God for giving me an opportunity to testify of what He has done for me. For years I have been praying for my husband to read The Bible. It has taken me 9 years in prayer for the same. At one point I became a nagging woman about this matter. I have always felt empty moving in my relationship with someone who is, I would call “invalid” for the Bible instructs us to meeting understanding first besides other things. Ooh the burden was too heavy on me. This year we both joined a group called Bible challenge class 2023 in January. The Lord answered my prayer. We are over 75 people on the group but my husband emerged to be the first to finish reading the Bible in the space of 4 months. He started again and by end of this year, he will be finishing the second year. Am so grateful to my God because not only has he read his Bible but also spiritually and physically everything about him is changing for better. All the glory and honour I return to my God. Ebenezer.
Harriet N. Class of 2023
8 consecutive years of trying and failing to read the Bible
At the beginning of 2023, I received an invitation from brother Dickson Wasake to join the Bible reading class of 2023, and I happily accepted the invitation. To give more context to this decision, I received a similar invitation at the beginning of the previous year, 2022, but had declined it because I had embarked on a similar journey at the beginning of 2022 to read the bible through the year. That bible journey of 2022 was actually the 8th consecutive year I was trying to read the bible, in response to a clear instruction I had gotten from The Lord in 2014 to read his word.
So for 8 consecutive years, I had made the decision every January to read the bible, but had never been successful in doing so, because I would run out of steam a few months into the journey.
Therefore when I received the invitation in 2023, rather than trying for the 9th consecutive year on my own, I decided to humble myself, accept the invitation from brother Dickson to join a group of others doing the same, and this was my best decision in 2023. I started with my class on 1st January 2023 and by God's grace was able to finish early on 18th June 2023, and read the bible of a period of 168 days or 24 weeks. The journey through the bible was a profound experience, from which I have drawn numerous lessons, a key one being the decision to read the bible even more and learn God's word, so that I may know Him and purposefully live out my part in His eternal plan. For anyone who has not read the entire bible before, I implore you to do so, and to do so alongside others. It will be a remarkable transformative journey, that will impact your destiny for ever. I bless The Lord for brother Dickson and the team at Shawele Road Ministries for their love and heart of service to grow and strengthen the body of Christ around the world.
Kwame R. Class of 2023
Musumba! (Pastor) I have completed the Bible for the second time.
Musumba! Musumba! Musumba! I have called you three times because am happy, glad and blessed again under your guidance / whip🤦♂️, that I have completed the bible for the second time.
I have revisted the same scriptures i read in 2022 but amazingly each time I have been getting new revelations and that has remained a mystery to me.
Its amazing how now in conversations with friends and family I can remember what the bible says about a situation and I relate to it and to me that’s practicing what i have been reading.
Am very sure if it was not the bible reading I wouldn’t have reached that state. There is a remarkable addition in value to my spirit most especially this second time, which has been a completely different experience. “Obedience is better than sacrifice” thanks for obeying the instructions as far as changing spiritual and physical lives of others like me.
May God continue to use you, guide you and protect you.
May his light continue shinning upon you.
May you not die before your time but leave longer to continue testifying of his Goodness in this land of the living.
_"I was young and now old but have never seen the righteous foresaken or their children beg for bread"_
May that be your portion and above all, may He grant you knowledge, wisdom and understanding to effectively and efficiently guide us because you are positioning us for Kingdom responsibilities.
You are helping us rediscover our God given purpose in his Kingdom. Let me stop here coz am getting emotional but thanks for not tiring because we were tiring and lagging behind at some point.
I love the fact that you hate to see us lagging behind.
Thanks my pastor brother and friend. As you have always ended your Youtube presentations, allow me also say “Maranatha.”
Augustine W. Class of 2022 & 2023.
I did not even welcome the Bible challenge at first!
I'm so humbled to say thank you. I'm so grateful to God for using you and thank you for accepting to carry this mandate for people like us.
I felt so much joy from the bottom of my heart and in my spirit when I was reading my last scriptures, I felt like tears flowing. It is hard to reconcile that I have actually made my first Bible reading (in life) from Genesis to Revelation.
It is something I had tried and tried for years, preached and taught in the power of the Holy Spirit, to hundreds of people, miracles happening, changing lives, but I had never made it to the joy of Genesis to Revelation.
I bless the Lord for my wife who brought to me the “Good news” about the Bible Challenge which I didn't even welcome at first but when she completed her first year, I celebrated her and some how made up my mind to give it a try.
When I joined, I convinced some other few to join but I didn't actually have the full experience of how it works.
Now!! I'm fully persuaded and this time round I will draw many.
I bless the Lord so much for this is not just fun reading the Bible with a certain group of people but allowing God to have His way in you.
Testify with them that testify and let the glory to the father.
Grace and Peace unto you.
Pastor Hudson T. Class of 2023
Great experience it was.
Thank you for enabling me to read the word, with all the push, zeal, fire to see us to the end.
Great experience it was. My desire still is to know more and more of God and what his will for me is in this world! Blessings to class 2023, and a blessed, fruitful beginning to class 2024! Happy 🎊 and a blessed new year 2024! 🙏🏽 Flavia A. Class of 2023
A slow reader whose faith has increased.
Praise God brethren, I truly thank God for the bible group. It has helped me to take reading the Bible as a routine and I feel a change both spiritual and physical. Because of the teachings in the bible, I can testify that my faith has increased and no longer hover because I know what it means when it does.
I also thank God for the life I still hold because if his grace, through the bible challenge period, I went through so many challenges that kept many questions in my mind but again these questions were answered the more I read the bible. I sincerely want to thank the class monitor for being hard on me to finish the bible. The reminders kept me running and feeling like I had a debt which I needed to deal with and this enabled me to learn more and help myself through the hard situations. I want to thank God for sister Carol who always stood in for me whenever it was my turn to lead [prayers]. She did it without complaining. I am grateful, may God bless you people so much. I now feel [like] two days not reading a bible is like driving at a speed of 220km/hr, that [is] dangerous! I see myself moving off track with God [when I do not read]. Thanks to all who encouraged us the slow readers until we all finished the race. May God bless all of you and I loved the follow ups and special prayers of the class monitor. May God bless you for the patience you hold with people. Caroline M, class of 2023.
My second time reading – God is building my life piece by piece
Hellos... I trust that God is keeping you well no matter what. It's my 2nd time reading through the bible. It is a big testimony for me coz this year has really been challenging. I had crazy crazy work schedules and I lost my phone twice. I was also really excited this year that my husband joined as well and even finished before me. Finally I am happy that I have seen some of the scriptures I read come to pass, like Ezekiel 32:7... How God builds each one us piece by piece... _it is a representation of how Christ builds his church and builds each one of us up. Each part coming together, getting a body, muscle and eventually the breath of Life which to me is like Logos and rhema to keep us alive.
I see evidently how God is building my life piece by piece. Justine T. Class of 2023 (and 2022).
The Bible would have been bottom of my list in my past life!
Those who know me will know that in my past life, reading the bible would have been at the bottom of my list. But God works in mysterious ways. I felt a sudden sense of emptiness that made me seek the word of God. When I started reading, I could not stop so finished 82 days earlier than scheduled. What has God done for me🤣. 1. My insomnia is gone. I am now actually struggling with getting up much earlier than I am used to. 2. I had a very bad experience in love. God healed me and I am now married with an amazing family. 3. I had very uncontrolled diabetes but the last test revealed 60% improvement. 4. I used to spend 90% of my time out of my house looking for the highs in life. I now spend 98% in doors with my family. #onlyGod. Ronald L. Class of 2023.
Praise God my provider
Praise God brethren, Annet M is my name. I thank God for the great mighty things he has done for me. 1.He has given me a gift of life.2. He has fought my enemies - the ones I know and the ones I know and the ones I do not know. 3. I got a trip to Dubai without putting a single coin of mine, not hotel, not visa, not ticket, he used someone who did everything for me. 5. Provision, God has been so faithful to me and he makes sure I don't lack, he provides tuition, rent, clothes and so many others.6. God has healed me. I got an attack which came like cough but it almost took my life but thank God am healing.7. He healed my dad who got a stroke, now he walks and speaks some words and I believe he will be well. 8.God healed my aunt who fell and bled in the head and got many operations but is now much better.
Reading the bible have become part of my life, especially when in church since it is my second time to read it now when am listening to the gospel, I remember everything. Reading the bible and understanding it has changed me spiritually and physically. I feel I should do the right thing all the time. God has done a lot. So, thank God for you man of God for bringing such an idea in my life and encouraging us all the time. Glory be to God. 🙏 Sarah A. M. (Class of 2023 and 2022).
I am forever grateful to my sister who shared this blessing.
I will forever be grateful to my sister Jackline who shared this blessing. End of year 2022 I thought of reading the whole bible, but I am so sure my plan would not have led me to the end but amazingly I was invited to join the 2023 class. My God was waiting on me, I am blessed.
I got saved in the first covid [wave of 2020]. I went through lots of challenges [but] still my God was with me. He led me to this class. I am still yearning to learn and here I come again to learn the word and live it. As we speak, I can preach, I can teach a little the word to my family. I praise the Lord for the wonderful work he has and still doing in my life. Alleluia, that is my testimony. Evelyn R. Class of 2023.
I used not to have passion to read that much, it's a part of me now, and a personal project.
I want to take this opportunity to thank the Lord for our class monitor Pr Dickson Wasake who is the vision bearer of this group. Its been my first year and time to be on this platform but have been really blessed. The journey of reading a whole Bible has been really awesome and it still continues. John 6:63 talking about the word being a spirit and life giving, I have personally seen this project extend this life in the word to certain areas of my life.eg I used not to have the passion to read that much,I was lazy in reading my bible but now,I am experiencing life in my word life. I don't need to be followed up now on whether I am reading my bible or not.Its a part of me now and a personal project. It got to a point where by I was not reading because I have to send my screenshots to the group, but I just knew that I had to read my bible.Glory to God🙌🙌🙌 Pink Tiffany N. Class valedictorian, 2024 (Finished 1st in March 2024, over 9 months early).
I got to know what my name (and purpose) means by scripture
Sir, I got to understand what truly the name Priscilla means by Scripture. As I kept reading about what Priscilla and Aquila did for the body of Christ. I got to realize that this couple was a pair of King makers. They secretly taught Paul and Apollos the Way of Truth.
I used to ask myself why I love teaching a lot on individual basis after reading the story of this couple I got to realize the mandate and assignment upon my life. Many a times my happiest moments in life are when I give a word of knowledge to a weak one and I see them get stronger in the Faith or any other aspect of life. I also realized this couple was very prosperous in the business world.
This helped me understand why I always had big business ideas in my heart with a vision to help the orphaned, widows, for the gospel to be extended to them as well. I have realized it is possible to be a Christian who is deeply rooted in the Word of Truth who seeks to grow others in the Kingdom and also be prosperous in the field(earth) to the Glory of God.
I have also realized that Priscilla never worked alone, she had her husband's support. Meaning some of the gifts God has placed in my life can only be called out by another ordained by God. This makes me a knowledge that I have achieved what I wanted to achieve in the challenge.
I so much desired to be accountable to an authority while I study the Word of God because I felt it would help me grow in the walk of Faith. Truly this journey has helped me get aligned to my assignment and also be strengthened in the inner man. God didn't use the strongest people but He used the weak to establish His blessing upon people. I have realized all God needs is the heart of a man. A contrite and broken spirit before God, He shall not despise.
I had been dealing with self-doubt for a while but after this challenge I am more confident in the Lord knowing that He is with me in all I do. That He wants the very best for me that's why He gives me those brilliant business ideas. I have learnt to live and walk in the way of peace with God and man. I used to struggle with being peacable at home with my loved ones at home because of difference in opinions but now am quick to accept my wrongs and repent.
Parents are many times God's way of extending wisdom to us, I repented for my sins and my heart is now open and teachable. Cancer gone: Whose report shall we believe
The prayer request I received (Friday 19 January 2024)
I was tested and told I have cells that will result into cancer of the cervix. The news blew my mind. But God told me I over come through prayers. Kindly stand with me in this as well. These requests have been known to only you and you alone. I know since you are in the desert crying and making straight the road for people to know God, The Lord can harken to my prayer as well through your voice. H.N (name confidential).
The testimony report of Friday 18, February 2024 (Just about exactly 1 month after the prayer request!)
My brother, whose report shall we believe? First test, no cancer not even a slight sign. Two consultants handled me with over 8 other doctors. Am overwhelmed! Thanks for your prayers. The Lord has humbled me😭😭😭😭😭😭.
My brother was released from prison
The prayer request (30 May 2024)
Praise God Pastor Dickson. Iam writing to ask you to pray for My Brother. He had a business partner and they were trading in cars but his partner swindled a client’s money and because his partner has some police officials he knows, my brother was taken to Luzira [prison]. I know God is the rightful judge and I am asking that you stand in the gap for him tomorrow. We are going to court so that they can release him on bail. Carol N.
The testimony (Next day, 31 May 2024)
Praise God Pastor Dickson. Today in court it all went well; he was released on bail. It turned out that the magistrate went to school with my other brother. I called that favour, generally it took us less than 10 minutes to be out of there. We thank God for the favour.
A doctor with no job for 7 months!
Prayer request:
Good evening, Sir. I have a prayer request. The Bible says that our confession is our possession. I have made it a habit to always confess and believe that good things will happen in my life, but of late I have sat down to reflect through and I have noticed that every time I confess a thing even if it’s half way done somehow it dies! Could there be anything wrong with me? I am a medical doctor who qualified 7 months ago but up to now I am still struggling to get a job. Could you stand with me in prayer as I believe God for a job? Thank you so much my brother.
Testimony/answered prayer (about 1 month later)
Good afternoon my brother. I thank God for the prayers we made. I now have a place that I am working at. It was only God.
Debt gone!
I really want to thank God for His provision since the year began.
One of my prayer requests this year was to be debt free.
1. I owed Canada Revenue Authority (CRA) taxes. This year on doing my tax returns I got a refund that cleared the debt I even had money leftover to pay off one of my credit cards in full.
2. I had also lent my uncle a tonne of money 2 years ago from my credit card (something I’ll never do again!). He had made
promises to pay in 3 weeks. I was struggling with the payments and the interest. I was afraid to approach him because of family ties. I decided to pay and ask God to remind him. This year he paid off 80% of the debt. I woke up one morning and the money was in my bank account.
3. Every 6 months my dad travels for his medicals I usually spend about $2,000 on each trip. In March I didn’t have this money and didn’t want use credit again cause I want to be debt free. I prayed and made my request to God. There’s someone else who I had also lent money to. I contacted them and they were willing to cover the entire medical expenses. I didn’t send a penny home. Dad’s medical was covered.
I really want to thank God for His provision. I’ve not lacked anything. He has been my Jireh 🙏 Kinanka (name witheld)
