In our modern world we somehow think magic and witch crafty only in movies and books like Wandavision, Harry Potter or Game of Thrones. We don’t see the spiritual war going on and so for example miss it in the wellness industry promoting Yoga. We think there is “good witchcraft” perhaps from God – in those who sell charms to “ward off evil” or in “love portions” as different from “dark magic”. We don’t know how modern magic looks. For example in QAnon the conspiracy movement whose followers stormed the US congress or in an astrology App so popular with over 20 million downloads and $15m funding. Magic or witch craft is not in the shadows. It’s all around us, in plain sight.
I have no experience with magic/witchcraft. The closest I have come to it in real life is about 20 years ago in Africa when I was a prodigal son. I found in a certain house of someone close to me: A basket hidden in a cupboard. In it was a cow’s hoof. A red cloth with needles and there was some money. I can’t recall if it had other fetishes and charms. I was so angry, I went and burnt the stuff while shouting, In the NAME OF JESUS. I later confronted the person they told me, it was for a “good purpose” to protect someone from their CO-WIFE who was bewitching them – causing them to run mad.
“Good magic” or witchcraft to protect someone from “bad witch craft”? This is one of the lies Jesus wants me to tell you about. He says: And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? (Matthew 12:26). All magic is from Satan.
The lie we believe is that somehow there is “Good magic” , perhaps from God and then “bad or dark magic” from Satan. This is not true. The God of the universe doesn’t do magic. Read the full article here.
